Dear sister, I agane seat myself to drop you a fiew lines to let you know that we are all well at present hopeing that these fiew lines may find you all in the enjoyment of the blessing. I received your kind letter of the eleventh. I was sorry to hear that ma was not well. We have been here three weakes. Five of us have bought a clame the Parish boys, George, Gustus and myself for which we paid two hundred and fifty dollars in gold. We have been at Truckee abought two weakes. We have ---pp any yet though we would have luste if we would have got any watter. We will wash tomorrow night. As we have not worked any yet we cannot tell whether our clame will pay or not. We have also one mule for the two black ones. We got two hundred and twenty five dollars for Kate Nugget. One hundred and one dollars for the other two. We got seventy for one and sisty for the other. Thomas is well and on a ranch with aul corn. Wright often wright all the nuse ciivil and war nuse. Tell our relations and friends to wright any and aul of them. Direct your letters to Virginy Citty Idaho or Montana territory either will do.
